The Commissioning Process
Initial Consultation
Your experience begins with a conversation — either in person or via video call. You and Freiman discuss content, color palette, dimensions, and timeline, and he often creates a preliminary sketch during the meeting. Clients are encouraged to review his work beforehand and note which pieces resonate with them.

Proposal and Project Start
After the consultation, you receive an email with several size options and corresponding prices. Commission pricing aligns with Freiman’s current gallery work. Once the size and substrate are confirmed, Freiman begins the painting.

Mid‑Process Review
When the painting is well underway, a second meeting is scheduled. This is an opportunity to confirm the direction of the piece and request adjustments if needed. A deposit is requested at this stage, the frame is ordered, and an approximate completion date is set.

Completion and Delivery
When the painting is finished, you may request minor final adjustments before it is varnished and framed. Final payment is due upon completion. Delivery options include pickup in Lancaster, personal delivery, or shipping.
