Oratorio Society of New York

September 18, 2008

The Oratorio Society of New York has invited Freiman Stoltzfus to design posters and promotional materials for their exciting upcoming season.
Since 1873 – 25 years before the city included all five boroughs – The Oratorio Society of New York has been an essential part of New York City's cultural fabric. The Oratorio Society presented its first concert on December 3, 1873. One year later, on Christmas night, the Society began what has become an unbroken tradition of annual performances of Handel's Messiah (at Carnegie Hall, since its opening in 1891).
Freiman, who is a tenor member of the chorus, will design posters for Handel Messiah, presented on December 15, and Bach Mass in B Minor, on April 20, 2009. Both concerts will be held at Carnegie Hall in New York.
Please visit the Oratorio website and plan to attend the concerts this season. The conductors, musicians, and singers are exceptionally dedicated to the finest performance of these sublime choral masterworks.
